Animal Registry Unlimited Pet Rescue

Welcome to our companion site. We will now be offering pet rescues and adoptions for people wanting to adopt or needing to place animals. This is a seperate service from our registry. We will not be using the registry to help with the rescues.

All rescues will be done on a space/resources available basis. We would love to be able to rescue all animals needing a place but the reality is financial considerations and space available limit any rescue group or animal shelter.

We will need your help to make this a workable program that will last for generations. If you have any sugesstions please send them to us with the feedback button.

We believe that when you get a pet you are responsible for that pet. If for some reason you are no longer able to keep that pet you are still responsible for the care of that pet/s until it/they are placed in a permanant home.

If you are in need of placing an animal immiediately we may be able to accept it here for placement by us. We are currently able to accept only small animals here. Rats, mice, hamsters, rabbits, ferrets, snakes, lizards, etc.

If you have an animal not listed above you may contact us to find out if we consider your pet a small animal.

We do not accept wild caught animals such as squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, etc. We are currently unable to accept large animals. Dogs, horses, etc. due to limited space available. We do have access to a very small pasture and may be able to take in a few SMALL grazing animals.

You will be responsible for shipping your pet to us if you need immiediate placement. We also have a fee to accept small animals here. Currently the fee is based on average feed expense for type animal for 2 months and a health exam by a vet. Our vet charges a $35.00 office visit per animal.
We also keep cage, crate, pet taxi, etc. that the pet is shipped in so that we will be able to ship to the adopter.

Example fee (1 hamster)
1 vet visit $35.00
2 months hamster feed $ 5.00
-----------
Total fee $40.00

Shipping is not considered a fee and must be added seperately.

Most animals require a health certificate to be shipped. Our vet check is primarily to guard against any sickness caught in transport.
It is your responsibility to know that you are sending us a healthy animal. If you send a sick diseased individual that it will cost more to save than you are willing to pay it will be put to sleep and the remainder of your fee if any will be considered a donation to help other animals. If you are willing to pay for treatment you will need to make arrangements with our vet or send us the amount that our vet estimates will be spent saving your pet.

We try very strongly to place your pets in an appropriate home but if we cannot place your animal within the two months we will notify you and offer you the opportunity to decide whether you wish to contribute more towards feed expense or have your pet/s put to sleep. We respect the privacy of you and our adopters and do not disclose who placed the animal for adoption or who has adopted an animal. We will contact you when your pet has been adopted to let you know that an adoption has taken place.

If you have a pet that you need to place and are able to keep it yourself until an adopter can be located you may contact us and have your animal placed on our list of animals for adoption. You may not sell an animal here but you may charge for shipping expenses. This must be worked out between you and the adopter. You must provide contact information for adopters to contact you. This can be an email address, a phone number, home address or PO Box. We are asking for $5.00 donations per animal (not required but appreciated) for this service. This donation will be used for cages, supplies, etc. for other animals.

If you are willing to adopt an animal please contact us. Tell us what type animal/s you are willing to adopt. Whether you will accept older animals or not. We will then email you an adoption application. We also have a small fee for people adopting a pet. This fee is the equivilent of what an appropriate cage/s would cost for the animal/s you are adopting and any shipping costs. This helps us to help more animals. If the animal you are adopting has not been fixed (spayed/neutered) or equivilent and you want them fixed it will be your responsibility.

Example adoption fee 1 (3 hamsters)
3 aquariums, cages in like new condition. No cracked glass or damaged, rusty, etc. cages or $30.00.
Total fee $30.00 or equivalent

Example adoption fee 2 (3 mice)
1 aquarium, cage, in like new condition. No cracked glass or damaged, rusty, etc. cages or $10.00

The reason for the difference between example 1 & 2 is because most hamsters are solitary animals. Mice can usually be kept in colony groups.

Shipping is not considered a fee and must be added seperately.

If you want to adopt from a private individual who has an animal on our adoption list. We ask for $5.00 donations (not required but appreciated) for this service. This donation will be used for cages and supplies for other animals. Any shipping fees will be between you and the person you are adopting from. We do not allow animals to be sold here if you are asked to pay for more than shipping costs please let us know.

We currently have no animals here for adoption.

We have 2 female Chows Chows on our adoption list.
For information on them send

If you just want to help out we will gladly accept donations of cages (includes cages or aquariums for rodents & small reptiles), food, cleaning supplies, brushes, combs, leashes, collars, shampoos, gift certificates spendable on pet supplies or builing materials, checks or money orders, etc. If you are willing to donate your time and home to take in animals until they can be placed (adopted) please let us know especially if you have the facilities for large animals.

Donations are currently not tax deductible. We are working on this.
